It began as quiet evenings with a needle and thread — the slow rhythm of stitching after a long day.

Those evenings grew into something bigger. Today I make mixed-media embroidery from my home in Sheffield: one-off original pieces alongside cards and embroidery kits, so you can hang my work on your wall or stitch a little of your own.

My inspiration comes from the natural world — tropical light, water, jungle greens, the colour of a paradise I keep returning to in thread. Every original is made slowly, by hand.

How a piece comes together

  1. 01

    Inspiration

It usually starts outdoors — tropical light, water, the greens of a jungle.

  2. 02

    Design

Sketching and planning each element, balancing colour and texture.

  3. 03

    Stitching

Hours of slow handwork, building the piece thread by thread.

  4. 04

    Finishing

Mounting, pressing and packing each piece with care.
